Initial sketch book work

Starting to have a go at collage

Development work and playing around with different ideas and arrangements. Trying to make the images and more dynamic. I decided to add another element to add movement and interest and give the images more of a narrative. Each animal will be chasing something- Hare+stars, Fox+falling leaves, Snail+raindrops and birds+snowflakes.

Working in collage is definitely feeling slow but the plus is that things can be rearranged until they are stuck down giving a bit more freedom to develop the image.

Final Artworks:

I'm really pleased with how my final artworks look- they do look better in real life, you can't really see the tactile qualities of the collage on the cans but I think they still look good and have fulfilled the client brief.
